Global Design Project #GDP004 - Case The Designer

This challenge with Global Design Project this week is "Case The Designer" I really enjoyed doing this challenge this week.  I am finding great inspiration by being challenged each Monday by these wonderful challenges and this week was no different. I love using the Stamp Sets that correspond with a matching framelit as it makes creating a breeze. As with Louise Sharp's Card I have taken the Gold Color from her card and the Wonderous Wreath Stamp Set and matching framelits and have made a Envelope Card.

Visit The Designers over at Global Design Project and why not enter in this great challenge.

Cozy Christmas

As you may have guessed by now I absolutely love the 'Lovely As A Tree' Stamp set, this time I used it with the very new stamp set from the Christmas Catalogue " Cozy Christmas" I just love both of these stamp sets and I was inspired by Keenan Kreations to try this technique. Her sponging technique is one of my favourite's and just love to use this technique whenever I get the chance.

I just love the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set as well with the lovely image of Santa and his Reindeer's, also the Christmas Bells in this stamp set are so pretty.

I would like to enter this card in Just Keep On Creating - why not put your creation in for this month. It is a great site to share your creations with others.

Crazy Crafters September Blog Hop

Welcome everyone to the Crazy Crafters September Blog Hop, this month we are showcasing some of the new items available to you in the exciting new Christmas Catalogue. I have used the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set and the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Die accompanied with some of the new embellishments in the Christmas Catalogue.

I have also used the Splatter Technique on my card, the list of ladies participating in this blog hop are under my card details and they would love you to visit their blog and leave a comment.

Splatter Technique: In a little container squeeze some Mono Liquid glue and using a Aqua Painter add a little water to glue puddle and mix with the brush tip of your aqua painter. Then flick your Aqua Painter over your cardstock, then sprinkle with desired glitter and shake off access. I have used gold glitter on my card, I think it looks great on a white background. Just experiment with a scrap piece of cardstock.

Global Design Project #GDP002 Sketch Challenge

This challenge with Global Design Project is a Sketch Challenge this time, you will see the Sketch Layout below in my post. Check out the new Challenge Site HERE! and all the wonderful projects from many of the top Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world.

So you know how I have designed my card following this sketch, I have flipped the sketch over and this is my interpetation of the sketch, I hope you like my card. Here is the LINK TO THE TUTORIAL by Keenan Kreations that I have based my card on. I just love this technique and have used it on many of my cards.

Visit the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #GDP002

My Card - My Interpretation of the Sketch
I have flipped the sketch design over and turned it side ways.

This is a close up of the Stampin' Up! stamp "Blended Bloom" I stamped it 3 times with Versamark Ink, embossed each flower with White Embossing Powder and heat set. Then using my daubers used the sponging technique, then cut each flower out in 3 stages and layered them using Stampin' Up! dimensionals which has made the flower pop. I hope you like my interpretation of this sketch.

Flowers were fussy cut and layered using dimensionals.

Products used in this card:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Shimmery White, Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Set: Blended Bloom, Petite Pairs
Stamp Pads: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Versamark
Punches: Sweetheart, Itty Bitty Accents
Ribbon: Cherry Cobbler 3.2cms Striped Grosgrain
Sequin Trim: Gold
White Tea Lace Doily

Global Design Project #GDP001 - Festival of Trees

I haven't entered any challenges for a while but this one is something special, all these amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in one place. I can't wait to learn from their skills and hope you will pass the word, I would love you to join my blog and become one of my followers and come on this wonderful journey with me - not one day goes by I don't learn something to encompass my skills with these beautiful Stampin' Up! products!

As my followers and friends know I have dedicated the entire month of September to blog a Christmas Card every second day, today is no different. I have used the beautiful versatile stamp set from Stampin' Up! "Festival of Trees" I hope I have inspired you just a little to make a start on those Christmas cards and if you would like to purchase this Stamp Set Bundle from Stampin' Up! please click HERE!

This challenge with Global Design Project is a Color Challenge using Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette and So Saffron. Check out the new Challenge Site HERE! and all the wonderful projects from many of the top Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world.

My Card

Products used on this card:
Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron
Stamp Set Bundle: Festival of Trees
Stamp Pads: Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron
Punch: Banner Triple Punch, Washi Label
Embossing Folder: Elegant Dots
Ribbon: Pink Pirouette 1/2" Seam Binding
Candy Dots: Neutrals
Glue Dots
Dimensionals

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

How I created the card:
I started by sponging the base cardstock with the Pink Pirouette at the top, then brought the So Saffron color to meet the top color and highlighted the bottom with the Smoky Slate. I then embossed that piece of cardstock with the Elegant Dots embossing folder. I used the Triple Banner Punch to highlight all 3 colors of the cardstock and then embossed these banners also before applying them to my card. I adhered the beautiful Pink Pirouette seam binding to the left side of the card tieing a knot and cutting it off at my desired length. Then I stamped the Festival of Trees images on the 3 different colors of cardstock and layered the top layer with dimensionals and finally added my sentiment.

I hope I have inspired you to give these techniques a try!

Happy Crafting
