Crazy Crafters July Blog Hop - Remarkable You

Welcome Back to our second Blog Hop for this month, our special guest this time is the very talented Tami White, we are so thrilled to have Tami join us for our Blog Hop. You can check out Tami's Blog HERE! Our theme this month is to CASE one of Tami's projects. I have chosen one of Tami's cards to CASE pictured below. I have taken the stamp set that Tami has used "Remarkable You" and sponged my panels and then stamped my images, I have layered my card with the stamp set, sentiment, ribbon and butterflies to give the card some dimension.

Note: I have used the Shimmery White Cardstock for my sponging on my front panels on my card, I find this is a lovely smooth surface to sponge on.

Lovely As A Tree Christmas

I thought I'd give this Color Challenge a try for the Global Design Project, I have used a technique to achieve the background by stamping Melon Mambo and Smoky Slate from my ink pad onto a Acrylic Block then pressing it down to transfer the ink onto a piece of shimmery white cardstock. Left to dry for a few minutes, then using the Flurry of Wishes largest snowflake I have stamped it on using it as a background stamp. Then I have stamped my Christmas Tree from the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set added some Heat and Stick then some glitter (heat to set ) and a metallic sequin at the top of the tree. Finally stamped and punched out the smaller two snow flakes and added them to the card using dimensionals, applied some regal enamel shapes, metal rimmed pearls and some smoky slate ribbon.

Remarkable You

I have used the Magnolia Flower from the Remarkable You stamp set, I have watercolored the Magnolia flower using a Aqua Painter and also using my Stampin Up Stamp Pads. I watercolored 3 Magnolia flowers and then fussy cut them out and joined them together to make one large flower. The background was achieved by using the new brayer from Stampin' Up! on shimmery white cardstock in Real Red.

You can find the tutorials for these techniques over on my Utube Channel, I hope you will check out the tutorials and give them a try.
