Handmade Embellishments

What a fabulous idea, why not design your own embellishments to suite your card colours so they all blend in beautifully. I have been doing this a lot lately and decided to share it with you. With these embellishments I had a male card in mind so once I decided my colour scheme I created these embellishments using some Cardstock, DSP, Buttons, Enamel Shapes, Sentiments and using the technique curtain fold.

Here are the measurements for the curtain fold I used.

Instructions on making the Curtain Fold:
  1. One piece of Designer Series Paper - 8" x 3"
  2. Score on one side at 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/2" and 1-3/4"
  3. Turn your paper and score at other end at 2-1/2", 2-3/4", 3.5" and at 3-3/4"
  4. Do the other side the same.
Also, here are some links over on my utube channel for some cards I made using this technique.
