Enjoy Life GDP144

I have decided to do a challenge card today for Global Design Project GDP144, check it out and why not join in.  I have used one of the new Stampin' Up!® Stamp Sets "Enjoy Life" and I have made my card a male themed card. I  sponged my whisper white panel with my sponge brayer using Balmy Blue, Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz Ink Pads. I also used some masking tape to mask off a side panel and once I had  finished sponging removed the masking tape and stamped down the panel using a image from the Enjoy Life Stamp Set. I then layered some pieces of Nature's Poem DSP and added a thin strip border from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper. Using my layering Circles Framelits I cut a piece in Night of Navy and Whisper White, Sponged the piece of Whisper White and stamped my images and then adhered it to the piece of Night of Navy with Stampin' Dimensionals before applying it to my card. Finally, I added my sentiment.

Very Vintage

I have used one of Stampin' Up!®'s new hostess stamp sets to create this aged vintage look on my card. The stamp set is Very Vintage, I started by using Basic Black as my card base, my first mat is Very Vanilla and I have used my sponge dauber and the Basic Gray ink pad to age the cardstock around all the edges. I then have used a panel from the beautiful new DSP Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut DSP, I have used the Very Vanilla side and with my dauber and the Basic Gray ink pad aged the inner circle as well as the outside edges. I then stamped my flower image onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock  and cut it out using my Layering Ovals Framelits and once again sponged over the flower and the edges. I then coloured my flower with my Blends Alcohol Markers and adhered the oval to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added some Wink of Stella Clear on my Bumble Bee and flowers.

Hedgehugs

I have made a fun Children's card today using the stamp set "Hedgehugs", I have done some dry embossing using the Woodlands Embossing Folder and then sponged the embossed cardstock with a dauber and some ink from my ink pads. I punched a circle using one of my punches so you can see the sentiment from the front of the card. I stamped the birds and hedgehog images and fussy cut them out, coloured the Hedgehogs with my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers, added some rhinestones for eyes to my birds and adhered them to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals and Tombow Liquid Glue.

Hold on to Hope

I know we all don't particularly like making Sympathy Cards but I love the challenge and always try and steer away from black and white cards. Today I have used Wisteria Wonder as my base card, next layer is Soft Sky then I  used a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to stamp my image with Versamark Ink and heat emboss it with White Embossing Powder. With my Shimmery White piece of cardstock I cut out one of the oval shapes from the Stitched Shapes framelits with my Big Shot and lining it up with my piece of Soft Sky cardstock stamped my image. I then using a blending tool and my Wisteria Wonder ink pad sponged the entire piece. Finally stamped out the cross in Black and cut out the cross and stamped it with Whisper White ink with the image from Hold on to Hope stamp set and finally heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and adhered it to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Wonderful Moments

I have made a Criss Cross Card today using the beautiful DSP Nature's Poem, I have used cardstock colours Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. I wanted to mainly keep the Bride's Gown White so I just gave the Gown some highlights with my Blends Alcohol Markers and my Wink of Stella Clear Pen.  I also made a matching insert for inside the card and have glued a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock on the back of the card for writing your personal message. I then adhered the Bride Oval with some Stampin' Dimensionals to a piece of Soft Suede cut out using my Layering Ovals Framelits.

Lovely As A Tree

Today I have used my most favourite stamp set Lovely As A Tree, this stamp set is awesome. Today I have used it as a Wedding Card and a Congratulations Card. I use it every year for my Christmas Cards by adding a bit of sparkle and a different sentiment. With my card today I have used the stamp resist technique, heat embossed and  sponged the entire card and finally adding the sentiment. With my second card I masked a circle for the moon using Eclipse Masking Tape, and then when I removed the mask just added a little bit of Wisteria Wonder. I used the same 3 colours for both cards and they look so different.

I have once again used the wonderful Scalloped Tag Punch to make this card, this time I have made a side opening with the Tag Punch and also made a full size tag for the front of the card and decorated it using the stamp sets Petite Petals and Papillon Potpourri Stamp Sets. I used my Petite Pairs stamp set for my Thank You Sentiment. I also used the Fluttering Embossing Folder on the full size tag on the front of the card.
