Heartland

I have used the Heartland stamp set today from Stampin' Up!®, I was thrilled to find out this one was carried through to their new catalogue, it is one of my favourite's for my male themed cards. I have used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the Hardwood Background Stamp with Whisper White Ink Pad, I just love the effect. Then I stamped the image with Memento Black Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and coloured it with my Blends Alcohol Markers. I then cut it out with my Layering Ovals Framelits with my Big Shot and then adhered it to a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock also cut out with the Layering Oval Framelits and then adhered both pieces to my card. With the sentiment I am doing a tutorial to show you how I created it, as it is one long sentiment but I used the window punch and some masking so I could create smaller words. Please check out my Utube Channel and subscribe and you will see the tutorial once it is published.

Sitting Here

Today I have used the stamp set "Sitting Here" along with the Hardwood Background Stamp and Hold On To Hope Stamp Set, I haven't use this stamp set for awhile and was thrilled when I found out it was carried over to the new Stampin' Up!® Catalogue. It's the perfect stamp set to create a scene and to bring out your Stampin' Up!® Blend Alcohol Markers to use to colour. I stamped the Hardwood Background Stamp with Whisper White Ink on some Whisper White cardstock and set it aside to dry, stamped my swing image and coloured it with the Blends Alcohol Markers. Then stamped the lovely vine flower from the stamp set Hold On To Hope to drap down the swing. I then stamped , coloured and cut out the bird, cat and pot of flowers and added them to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Beautiful You - A Beach and Sunset Scene

I have created a Beach and Sunset Scene with my card today using the two stamp sets "Beautiful You" and "High Tide" from Stampin' Up!®. I first laid down an undercoat of colour for the beach, sea and sky sunset, then using the images from the High Tide stamp set stamped over my undercoat of colours. I also used my 2" Circle Punch to create a mask for my moon with Eclipse Masking Tape which I removed once I had finished stamping to reveal a beautiful crisp white moon. I then stamped the birds in the sky from the High Tide Stamp Set and the Lady and Sentiment from the Beautiful You stamp set. I also stamped the lady onto some DSP from my stash and cut out the umbrella and her dress and adhered it to her, this is called Paper Piercing.

Check out my Utube Channel for this card, I have done a Part 1 and Part 2 Tutorial.

Daisy Delight Sympathy Card

I have made a Sympathy Card today, who says they have to be boring. I have used the Daisy Delight Bundle for this card today. I have also done a tutorial over on my Utube Channel on several cards using this bundle so please subscribe to my Channel so you can check them out.  I have kept this card to just Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock with a splash of Marina Mist. With my Daisies I punch 2 out for one Daisy and curl them with my bone folder to break the cardstock fibres a little and then using Tombow Liquid Glue adhere them together. It really gives the card some lovely dimension.

Daisy Delight Thank You

This must be one of my favourite bundles to use "Daisy Delight", this set fits so many ocassions and I have done a few tutorials over on my Utube Channel with this bundle so please check them out. I made this lovely thank you card for my card today using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder on the Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and also on the oval of Shimmery White Cardstock where the sentiment is. I then stamped the Daisy image on some Shimmery White Cardstock twice and punched both images out with the Daisy Punch and layered them together before applying them to my card. Finally adding some Daffodil Delight Ribbon and a small sentiment at the bottom of my card to flow on from the Thank You sentiment at the top.

Pop Up Card - Fly With Me

With this wonderful Pop Up Box Card or Card In The Box (it is known by many different terms) I have used a Mama Elephant stamp set Fly With Me. How cute are these little elephants and their balloons, I was very happy with how it turned out and it can be sent in a normal C6 Envelope. I used Stampin' Up!®'s Blends Alcohol Markers to colour all the images and a die from Lawn Fawn which made it so easy to have fun with this one.

High Tide Sunset

Today I have used the High Tide stamp set from Stampin' Up!® to create this beautiful sunset over a beach theme. I love this stamp set as you all know I love creating a scene. For this one I started by applying an undercoat of colours using a dauber and my ink pads, firstly the sand, then the sea and lastly the sunset around my masked moon. I then using stamps from the High Tide stamp set stamped in the sand and sea to add more dimension. Lastly, I removed my moon mask and stamped in my birds of the sky and my birds on the beach. I also did mask off the sides of my panel to show a clean crisp border on each side.
