Very Versailles Art Squared

This was a great card technique done in my members group's card classes. You just never know how it's going to turn out till it's all been put together. A very quick and easy sponge method which took me a bit to get use to as I love to take my sponging very slowly normally but this is a great technique to learn for beginner crafters when you want to take your card to the next level.

Very Versailles Retiform Technique

I have used the Retiform Technique on this card today also known as the Grid Technique. I have used the stamp set Very Versailles, I used Basic Gray, Mint Macaron and So Saffron to do my sponging and then stamped all my images in Early Expresso. This is one of my favourite techniques, I used Ecilpse Masking Tape to make my masking a breeze. I alway like to follow a template I have created to form the Retiform Sections. I think it is important to have a plan to how the finished design will be created.

Healing Hugs Window Card

Here is my window card I made today with the Healing Hugs stamp set, this is designed to be a sympathy stamp set but I have made it one that could be a birthday card just by changing the sentiment. I absolutely love this stamp set from Stampin' Up!®. It is a Distinktive Style Stamp Set. What does this mean you ask? When you stamp with it, it has all the highlights in the stamped image for you. There a few tips to know when using this type of stamp set.

Most importantly don't have a juicy stamp pad and also when stamping it's best to give a strong one time press onto your stamp pad instead of stamping it on the ink pad several times. I cover this over in My Utube Channel and I have also taught this style of stamping in my Members Group. I hope you will check these out and join my Members Group today.
