Nature's Beauty Christmas Card

I have created my first Christmas Card today with Nature's Beauty Stamp Set, I love this stamp set when I start creating my Christmas Cards. I have also used the Swirly Frames and the Best Year Stamp Sets. I am loving Stampin Up's new Adhesive Foam as well, I have put this under my center mat. The technique I used you ink up the inside of your embossing folder, then stamp the deer. Add your cardstock inside your embossing folder and run it through your die cutting machine. Then I sponge the trunks using Stampin Sponges and colored my deer with my Stampin Blends.

I have entered this card into  the challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday #WWC277 Tristan's Challenge - All About Occasions Challenge

Summer Days

I have used one of the new hostess stamp sets to create my card today, it is called Summer Days.  I made a mask for the tree and girl image and a mask for the sun/moon and then sponged my background. I then removed the masks and stamped my sentiments. For the tree I only detailed the leaves with my Stampin Blends then made a mask with circle punches so I could sponge my actual tree as I didn't want to fully colour it. I like the softness of the sponging on the tree.

Field of Flowers Black Magic Technique

I wanted to try the Black Magic Technique, you do this by stamping your image with a white pigment ink and letting it dry completely. I like to leave mine overnight to completely dry, you can use a heat tool to dry it if you prefer.  Then you use your color pencils to color over the white pigment ink. I have used two stamp sets on this card The Ornate Thanks and also the Field of Flowers.

I have created this card for #CTC271 Casing the Catty Challenge - Casing anything from the new annual catalogue.

Forever Fern Floating Frame

I've been wanting to try this Floating Frame Technique for awhile and finally got around to it today with the new bundle from Stampin Up Forever Fern, I also have used a image from the A Good Man Stamp Set for the center of my floating frame. I love this new bundle, it really works well for the male themed cards. To enter it into the challenge I thought the ferns were a great example of Flora and Fauna. I hope you like it.

Tasteful Touches

I just love this new stamp set Tasteful Touches, I have only used the one flower image from the stamp set and masked it to create this split image technique. It's just great being able to create two cards at once or a bulk creation if you need to send a lot out, just think Christmas Cards! As well as the Tasteful Touches stamp set I have also used the Butterfly Wishes  and the Healing Hugs stamp sets. I love how you can use as many stamp sets as you like to create one card.

This is how I started with my one piece of cardstock measuring 8.5 inches x 5.5 inches and make a pencil mark at 4.25 inches on the long side (8.5 inches ) and draw a line down to the bottom of your piece of the cardstock. Then start stamping on the pencil line and either side of the pencil line as I show you in the picture below. Once you have finished cut your image down the 4.25 inch pencil line, this will give you your two mats for your two cards. You will need to trim off 1/8 inches on one of the long sides and one of the short sides. Then the mats will fit on the front of a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card front. You can always add extra images and your sentiments before gluing your mats to the front of your card.

I have entered these cards into the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge

Nature's Beauty - Forever Fern

I started off using the Nature's Beauty Stamp Set today with full intentions of creating a Christmas Card, after adding some elements from the new Forever Fern Stamp Set I decided to create it into a Male Birthday Card. I started by cutting my shape out of the front of the card with my Rectangle Shaped Framelits and cut out a frame from the Ornate Layers Dies using some Adhesive Sheet so it would be easy to adhere to my card. I then sponged a piece of white cardstock with Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral to create the sunset inside the card and stamped some trees with Early Espresso Ink. I stamped my deer in Early Espresso and colored him with my Stampin Blends and fussy cut him out and added him to the inside of my card with Mini Stampin Dimensionals. I then stamped and cut out with my die cutting machine some images from the Forever Fern Bundle. I then adhered them to the side of my card with a birthday sentiment.
