So Much Love Split Image Technique

I have used the stamp set So Much Love today and used the split image technique to make 2 cards at once. I stamped my images using a masking technique, then used my Stampin Blends to colour my flowers. I then cut it in half at the 4-1/4 inch mark on the long side and created my two cards by just adding a sentiment, gluing them to the card bases.

Step 1 - Stamp your images on the 8.5 inch x 5.5 inch piece of cardstock.

Step 2 - Colour your Images and cut your piece of cardstock at 4-1/4 inches on the long side

I have used my absolute favourite technique on my card today for this challenge, Sponging Technique. The key to this technique is to take your time, don't be in a rush and the Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes makes it a breeze. I have listed below the colours I have used, my base card was early espresso cardstock and I used a masking tape to create my moon going down in the sunset. Finally, adding one of the sentiments from Many Messages Bundle.

Soar Confidently Pop Out Explosion Card

I have created a Pop Out Explosion Card using the Soar Confidently Stamp Set, this one is so easy to fussy cut and is great for all those male themed cards. I started by making my base of my card early expresso cardstock with some Butterfly Bijou designer series paper. I added a Happy Birthday sentiment with some Gold Gilded Gems.

Celebrate Sunflowers #AWLSU080 Kissing Technique

Each fortnight we have a challenge over at Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up, we would love you to VISIT US on our facebook group and join in our challenge. We have a new challenge each fortnight and this fortnight's challenge is a Technique Challenge. Use the photo below to create your card/project then once you have completed your creation for the challenge please go over to our group HERE and simply add your photo to our wall on our group with the hashtag #AWLSU080 before 8.30pm on Friday 23rd April.

I chose to use the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set with the circular compass image from the Sailing Home Stamp Set to create my Kissing Technique on my card. I inked up the large Sunflower with Calypso Coral ink and I inked the compass image with Pacific Point ink from the Sailing Home stamp set and pressed them together to create the Kissing Technique then stamped it on my piece of white cardstock, I continued doing this until I had covered the piece of cardstock. I then made a card base with Petal Pink cardstock, my first mat of cardstock is early espresso and so is my second mat. I glued a piece of Well Suited dsp to the first mat of early espresso cardstock, cut down to size my stamped celebrate sunflowers piece of cardstock and glued it to my second mat. I adhered my second mat to my first mat with a piece of adhesive foam sheet. I then added my sentiment from Many Messages Bundle, I absolutely love this bundle as I always have plenty of sentiments to choose from.
